Recruiting through the Bulletin Board means Guild only pays a one time fees, applicants, after taking the grand tour and are sincere to joins the guild of their choice will have to pay the 100g, they will be put on a waiting list before getting an invite to officially joins the guild they have chosen.
This would also encourage more guild specialization. Too many guilds are general PvE/WvW/PvP groups that tell potential recruits nothing of whether the guild will suit one's needs. Of course, this is all preferred second to getting guild recruitment boards at each of the cities.
I think it'd get more use if it didn't require an active player online to recruit for that guild and gave players options to filter guilds, or bare minimum let you keep advertising if you have a squad/party up for content bc if you're recruiting for a guild you literally cannot do group content unless it's your group
NA [CBo] Crimson Blackout is an easy-going WvW focused guild that loves to fight and is very active. We now also run PvE Raids and Strikes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are based on Sorrow's Furnace server, but open to adding players from other servers with alliances on the way.
We believe that Guild Wars 2 is best enjoyed with friends, which is why we organize events such as guild missions, group pve, and more. Our members regularly come together to help each other out with quests or share tips and tricks for mastering their characters.
